The room was fairly quiet and bright with a separate bathroom. It had marvellous location next to People's Story Museum. Moreover, the area was nice.

We liked Edinburgh very much and we liked the location of the apartments, in one of the closets on the Royal Mile and very close to everything. It is in the center but in the lower area, near the Palace. You can walk to all the most interesting and touristic places. Nearby there is a Tesco supermarket where you can buy everything you need and they open very early to buy freshly made croissants or anything else that is missing. The apartment has everything you need to make your stay comfortable and enjoyable, iron, hairdryer, equipped kitchen, .. and our room had two bedrooms and two bathrooms, a living room with kitchen very comfortable. We have repeated twice, once on New Year's Eve and now in summer.
We didn't like the fact that the doors don't have some kind of hold, so they're not always closing.

Marvellous location to the Christmas markets in a fairly nice area. Airy room with iron/ironing board, an electronic key card, tea and coffee making equipment. Hypoallergenic pillows, exceptionally comfortable bed.

location and attention of the reception staff. room has a small, well-equipped kitchen, as well as tea, coffee, sugar and detergent for the dishwasher and washing machine. we arrived the TV was not working, it was fixed the next day. As I read in a comment from another traveler that when making toast the fire alarm went off, I used the same procedure as her and placed the toaster under the extractor fan on. One morning we were awakened by the alarm in the building and had to evacuate with the rest of the guests. We waited on the street until the firemen arrived, hotel employees laughed and commented that it was caused by a tourist cooking
The mattress was a bit sunken. I think you should correct the fire alarm issue or at least warn the check in procedure so it doesn't go off when you're making simple toast

the hotel very well, central, near everything important that can be visited. 10 minutes from the castle, the museum of Scotland, 5 minutes from Hollyrood palace, 10 minutes from the train station, airlink bus stop, 10 minutes from Princess Street.., great, all the major pubs in Edinburgh, in short... very central and affordable, no more paying for others. Two minutes from a supermarket... two minutes from Clarinda's Tea room, which I highly recommend, (go before 4pm). In short, very well located. The hotel is quite good, the staff very friendly, although you have to know English because they don't understand even Spanish. They gave us a room with everything, big and complete bathroom with all included, soaps, dryer, towel warmer, etc. the kitchen enormously equipped, microwave, oven, kitchen with four burners, kettle, toaster, dishwasher, fridge and even washing machine,. All the utensils you need, apart from milk, coffee, tea, sugar, even a box of cereals. What I liked the least was the bed, although comfortable, it is time to change the mattress, (you can see the springs) but I had no problem and did not feel them . Cleaning the room properly by pulling regular, makes the bed, you replace the towels, soaps (if not forgotten, of course), but do not vacuum or sweep. There were hairs all over the floor. I recommend moving the bed and cleaning it. Don't open the windows, insects enter and sting you very nicely at night. Otherwise everything is fine.
the cleanliness, very fair.

room was big and comfortable. kitchen was clean and had everything needed to cook anything. wifi was working well and temperature of the room was good. location is quite good as you can get to any point in the old town in about 15 minutes and to the pub area in about 10.
To say something that was not quite right is that the shower head was losing a little water and this along with the screen was a little narrow caused water to come out of the shower. Another thing that could improve is the fact that you preauthorize the card blocking the amount of the stay and 50 pounds and when you leave you are charged in another payment the amount of the stay, which makes that when you leave the room if your stay is worth 300 pounds, you will find that you have blocked in your account 650 euros until you unblock the first preauthorization.

The carparking was good, but very poorly signposted, and badly lit , when i arrived staff from the hotel were smoking in the carpark
The "Executive hamper" was very poor and badly presented, I was offered an upgrade while check in and was shown to a tiny room , i asked what was the difference between the room i was upgraded from and was told that i had a better view? ( The view was of the back of the car park)- In addition, the laminate flooring was uneven in places, the shower in the main bathroom has mould growing in a corner which has been siliaconed over and loooks terrible.

Clean and spacious rooms near the royal mile and the magnificent Holyrood park. It was rather nice having access to kitchen and washing facilities, and one can certainly not complain about the location.

I paid around 90 euros per night and for that money our two bedroom apartment was absolutely great. Location is nice as you can walk everywhere, but the area is nice and quiet. The Tesco Express and Bene's chip shop just around corner (different corners though) make life easy. The staff was very friendly.
The sofa in the living room wasn't very comfortable and the floorboards were too squeaky, but these issues are really nothing. A free wifi would have been nice.
